Are you looking for fun ways to keep the kids entertained during your family holiday at BIG4 Batemans Bay at Easts Riverside Holiday Park?
Here are some of our favourite family and kid-friendly activities and attractions in and around Batemans Bay, to add to your list:
- Explore Mogo Wildlife Park. Just a short drive from the holiday park, Mogo Wildlife Park is a must-visit for animal lovers of all ages. With over 200 species of exotic animals, including rare and endangered species, there's plenty to see and do. They also have a wide range of memorable up close and personal encounters available.
- Take a walk. The region is home to some stunning walking trails, including the Batemans Bay Coastal Walk and the Murramarang National Park trails. The Batemans Bay Sculpture Walk is a great place to start and is only 1.5km long, through Batemans Bay CBD and along the foreshore to the marina and rock wall, with lots of public art dotted along the pathway.
- Visit Birdland Animal Park. This small family-owned wildlife park is home to a variety of native and exotic birds, as well as kangaroos, wallabies, and other animals.
- Go fishing. Batemans Bay is a popular fishing destination, with plenty of opportunities to cast a line and reel in a catch. Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner, there's something for everyone.
- Bring your bikes. The Batemans Bay Cycleway is an easy, family friendly, 18km ride and a great way to explore the area.
- Visit the Batemans Bay Marina. Take a stroll along the marina and enjoy the views of the boats and water. JJ's at the Marina is a great spot for a meal and they also have a Kids Menu available.
- Go kayaking: Rent a kayak and explore the Clyde River, which winds its way through Batemans Bay.
- Visit Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens: These beautiful gardens are home to a wide variety of native plants and wildlife, as well as walking trails and picnic areas.
- Spend a day at the beach. Batemans Bay is home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast. Pack a picnic, grab the sunscreen, and enjoy a day in the sun and surf.
- The new Bay Pavilions Arts + Aquatic Centre is now open and a great day out for all of the family. The aquatic facilities include an 25 metre lap pool, warm water pool and leisure pool, along with 4 exhilarating waterslides that finish both indoors and out!
